   This speaker was purchased part of a complete Martin Logan surround sound system. It replaced an Acoustic Research center channel speaker I had for years. The sound quality is incredible. It really delivers a crisp, clean sound. I’ve watched movies on many different surround systems. One of my biggest complaints is clarity when it comes to dialogue. Many times it is muddled and tough to comprehend. There is no such issue with the Martin Logan. Dialogue is clean and easy to discern. It really makes a nice difference. Highly recommend.

   I got floor model ml xt60s that I was using for a few years and I found the vocals watching rv was really low, and the other sounds were really loud. I primarily listen to music so I was a little hesitant to spend this much money on something that I might not have needed, but wow. Despite what some people say, when sitting in front of it, the center speaker makes a big difference with music, and I hear every word watching tv now with the other sounds much more balanced

   This is by far the best sounding Center channel speaker I have ever heard or owned. I have this paired with a Cambridge Audio Azur 651w driven 100wpc left and right channels driven for a total of 200watts via a y cable balanced xlr lines input from the center speaker output of the Marantz av7702mkii as a pre-amp. Movies, and music really come to life with this speaker. The level of transparency is incredible with this speaker. I am hearing things for the first time in movies and recordings that I never heard before.

   Excellent sounding with the 60XT beside it. The folded motion tweeter is accurate and fantastic without being too bright. The larger 6.5″ drivers put out more of the soundstage than then the 30 series does. These presented much better than the Boston Accoustacs they replaced.I did mount the speaker above the TV by building a wooden stand elevating the unit 32″ up. This is a heavy, large speaker so make sure you have a place to set it up that gives a clear path to your ears. You won’t be disappointed.

   I ordered this a center channel to pair with my definitive technology Mythos STL fronts and STS rear speakers. With such large surround speakers I was skeptical as to whether or not such a small speaker could hang, but I had limited space to fit it. Thought I did have to place the speaker before attaching the top of the TV stand, it made for an ultra sleek and finished look and I could not be more happy.As for sound, this thing has it! Crisp, clean, and powerful. You will not find any better for this price. It or performed most speakers much larger in size and cost.

   I’ve spent years enjoying my M-L Aerius I main speakers without the benefit of either a center or a subwoofer, but recently had the opportunity to add both. With M-L’s Dynamo 1000W driving the bass, I wanted a center that could come close to matching the Aerius I dynamic range – without completely breaking the bank (and my system layout) for an electrostatic center. The Motion 50XT fits in seamlessly with my other speakers; with my sub crossover set to 60dB nothing gets lost and little is wasted. The 50XT folded motion tweeter and high-end cones deliver crisp dialog and a soundscape that blends well with the mains.You’l want dedicated shelf space for this unit. For one thing, it takes a lot of space to drive sound as well as it does. Additionally, the unit can be flipped depending on how high you mount it; the speakers are tilted vertically, so if your unit sits at or below your listening position, you flip it so that they’re pointing slightly up, whereas if you’re below the speaker height you flip the unit to point straight out. This and the glossy finish guarantee that it gets its own space.
