I have been using the SmallRig Lightweight Cold Shoe Top Handle with my Sony FX30 camera for the past 6 months, and I am satisfied with its performance. The handle is very lightweight and easy to attach to the camera, making it ideal for shooting on the go.The grip is also very comfortable, and it provides a secure hold on the camera even during extended shooting sessions. I also love the cold shoe mount on the top of the handle, which allows me to easily attach accessories such as a microphone or a light. The build quality of the handle is excellent, and it has held up very well after 3 months of use. It has endured some bumps and bruises during shoots, but it still looks and functions like new.

Very sturdy, well built, and holds everything on my Canon T7i that I need. I have an external microphone and monitor that I attach and this works great. Very sturdy does not wobble. I highly recommend if you need a cold shoe.

I’ve had lots of other people in my industry, recommend this handle, but I never saw a real need for it. Given the cost and what I do with my camera, it just didn’t make sense. But then, I decided to give it a try and I’m very impressed with the quality. It’s clear that SmallRig listens to its users.Metal construction with a rubber grip just makes this thing “feel” good when handling your (likely) expensive gear. Stability is an understatement.I plan to mount a video monitor and shotgun mic to it. Seems like the perfect size for it.We lightweight construction coupled with

Really nicely built, lots of attachment points for accessories, feels like a professional piece of hardware, and not very expensive

Professional photographer from Seattle shooting both videos and photos with several Nikon cameras. I got this to hold/mount my Viltrox 550 Pro atop my Nikon Z9. Works as advertised with several points to affix your other gear. Great as a handle too, of course. Solid gear I use frequently and simply. Get it.

I was looking for a handle for my MiniDV camera, and this works perfectly! I mainly film cars and skateboarding, so low angles are a must. This really helps me achieve those low-angle shots, and the best part is the size. The handle is relatively small, so it easily fits inside a bag. I have not tried this with a DSLR, but I would assume it would work decently.
