I am an artist and I participate in art festivals. If you’ve ever been to an art festival or craft fair, those booths don’t pop up on their own, there’s a lot that goes into the displays. My booth has so many parts that have to be held up, down, in, out or together, and that’s often done with clamps, zip ties or duct tape. Clamps tend to fly off, zip ties are easy to put on but a pain to get off and are an environmental disaster. Duct tape doesn’t hold random shaped well, is a beast to get off, leaves a sticky residue, and there’s the environmental factor. I had gotten some Velcro strips but they are short and expensive. When I saw this roll I knew it was perfect. I cut lengths exactly as I needed, from 6″ to 2′. It was so easy to use. I strapped curtain rods to the tent roof, rug to the tent legs, display boxes together, and on and on. One show had 20 mph winds all day and some intense gusts, and the strips held! When the show is over I peel them off, stick them together and pack them away for the next show. No cutting, no waste, no negative environmental impact.

As someone in IT, I consider these cable ties an absolute must-have for managing wiring and keeping setups organized. Surprisingly, finding them in white was harder than I expected, so I was really glad to come across these. The white option is a game-changer for blending seamlessly with different decors, especially in clean, minimalist desk setups or areas where you don’t want dark ties standing out. They’re sturdy, easy to work with, and reusable, which makes rearranging cables a breeze without having to cut and replace ties each time. Overall, they’ve been super handy for both functionality and aesthetics, and I’ll definitely be keeping these on hand for future projects.

I actually took the time to measure the total length, and it was indeed 25 yards (not 25 feet). Adhesion is perfectly usable and I appreciate the lack of logos that appear over other products.

I use Velcro a lot. This does the velcroing.

Having a few furbabies (cats) that need scratching posts, I’m always looking for ways to keep them happy, while not *breaking the bank*. After noticing they liked *scratching* on a piece of loop carpet on one of their toys, I came up with what has proven to be an easy and cost saving idea to cover worn out cat tree scratching posts.I purchased 18 inches of loop carpet (12 feet wide) from Home Depot in a color compatible with their cat tree. Then I purchased this fastening cable in white (least expensive AND it’s dyeable). I dyed the fastening cable to match the carpet. The carpet was cut to the necessary lengths and widths to wrap the cat tree posts. This cable is used to keep the carpet secure as they scratch to their hearts content. Three pieces of cable are used for taller posts (top, middle and bottom). Two pieces of cable are used for shorter posts. Whenever the carpet needs changing, this cable gets re-used. What’s not to love???
