   I buy these rather than the mini plug cords because they hold up better. They are kind of a pain to drag around if you have coiled cord on your headphones but it works well and this was the cheapest I could find.

   This simply is the best extension cable i’ve used and trust me i’ve used a lot in past few years. i bought these to watch late night tv so my family member don’t get disturb. i have been using this cable for almost 4 months now and no problems yet , sound quality is very good .this is a very thick cable so i’m sure it can take handle the abuse very well. i have spent 2 dollars to 35 dollars on extension cable but none of them lasted more then 3 to 4 months, for 6 dollars this is a steal.

   This is plain and simple just a fantastic cable extension for the money. It is heavy and well shielded, has a very positive connection end and works flawlessly. I cannot discern any loss in quality while using this extension with my very high quality headphones, versus the headphones plugged in directly to the amplifier. When plugging the headphones into the connector, it has a very noticeable snap when it is engaged, and it holds tight, while allowing easy rotation with no popping or other signal noise. GREAT PRODUCT! I would definitely buy it again.

   You know what they say,,,”Happy wife, happy life”.This applies hereThe neighbors wife is aa light sleeper and sleeps late.The neighbor is up at 4 am .Music or TV was to loud .This cable made it possible for him to use his headphones .He can listen to music or Tv in peace .A+ rating from the neighbor and his wife

   What I especially like is the female part of the extension, it has what feels like a positive lock when you insert the headset plug into it. It is not going to pull loose accidently. Good audio too.

   I’m adding a couple stars for good support. I was contacted by Nathan Arendt from Your Cable Store, who took time to look up my order and emailed me. He’s offered to replace the cables with the higher quality one they sell now. Very nice.The new cable seems better. The product overall is more substantial than those in the original order. The cable is thicker and still flexible. The connectors are molded to the cable as before. I expect the better quality should help reliability over time. We’ll see. It was definitely good of Your Cable Store to replace the previous order. Much appreciated.Here’s my original message:It lasted just a few weeks more than the one year warranty. Three of four cables we purchased have gone intermittent, one channel failing. Something in the connector lets go of the audio signal in one channel. Too intermittent to tell if the problem is the connector itself or the wire inside the cable. No matter, this headphone extension goes unreliable. If you need a reliable product, this isn’t it.
