I bought this to replace an old broken record changer, and so I could listen to my 78 rpm records as well as my LPs. It plays at 33, 45, and 78 rpm, which is nice, but the included stylus, while a slight upgrade from the cheapest and most basic out there, isn’t ideal for playing 78s. If you go ahead and use it for that, they won’t sound their best, and it could ruin your stylus for playing your 33 LPs.There is the option of getting a Banpa or similar cartridge that has a separate stylus for playing 33s and 45s, and another for 78s, which can be selected by flipping it over with a lever on the cartridge. It’s a tricky upgrade because you have to carefully unplug the pins from the cartridge leads- 4 small wires behind it, remove the cartridge, and replace it with the new one, and carefully reconnect those tiny wires properly. I was able to do this fairly easy with a small screw driver to pry the clip open, and small pliers to remove and re-attach the wire leads from the pins on the new cartridge. There are how to videos online to walk you though it. Once you go through that trouble, you will be able to play both types of records properly without worrying about damaging them or the stylus. If you do not plan to play 78s on it though, you don’t need to worry about doing that. The included stylus is fine for 33 LPs and 45 singles. It’s also easily replaced or upgraded with a diamond stylus which is really available on Amazon.I do like the look of this unit with the silver front and wood grain cabinet. The smokey tinted dust cover is a nice touch. I did notice one of two very small rubber feet at the front of the dust cover was missing- Either having fallem off, or was left out. They are needed because they dampen the vibration where the dust cover touches the cabinet. No biggie- I fixed this by sticking self adhesive rubber drum pads under the two front corners. This allowed the dust cover to rest closed without vibrating and improves the sound. Those are cheap and also available on Amazon. Besides using them on drums, they are great for dampening vibration like using them as rubber feet on speakers. The turntable platter is almost full sized, which is nice for supporting full sized LPs, but it is plastic. You can add a mat on top of either rubber, leather, felt, cork, or acrylic plastic for added sturdiness- and depending on who you talk to, using such mats somewhat improves the sound. I never thought it did, but after trying them on different turntables I did notice a difference. Record weights that go over the spindle may help, but aren’t really needed on cheaper turntables like this one. What sold me on this record player was that the turntable has auto return. That is nice because when the tone arm reaches the end of the record, it raises, returns to its cradle, and stops automatically. That’s nice to have if you like to fall asleep to your favorite records. While it is not fully automatic (a push button auto start would be nice) the cueing lever works well. Nice to see one that gently raises and lowers the tone arm used here. And it is nice to see the auto return feature on an inexpensive all in one system. Also the platter is on springs which also helps to cancel out any unwanted vibrations or jolts that could be picked up as noises by the tone arm or make the record skip. So for an inexpensive turntable it is gentle on records. While lacking in features found in more expensive turntables, this one is adequate, and records sound great on it. And they will, so long as you remember to swap out a new stylus more often than you would on fancier turntables. The built in speakers sound ok, but they won’t impress or fill a large space. They’re similar to the small speakers you would find built into most TVs. Small, but they do get the job done. They are fine for casual listening in a small room though. The RCA line out jacks help overcome this, as you can easily output the signal to external powered speakers or an amplifier connected to passive speakers. I am using a small amp from Douk Audio that’s connected to the line out jacks and is hooked up to 4 additional passive bookshelf speakers. Adding speakers and a secondary amp with tone controls or equalization will add a fuller louder sound with a better range and bass if that’s what you need.I do like the included tape deck that also records, and is the kind of decent enough tape mechanism you’d expect on more expensive stereo systems than the simple cheap slot in cassette players you typically find on most cheap all in one record player systems or old car stereos. The options of usb recording and using sd cards, aux inand bluetooth is also nice. The remote could be a bit larger with more functions, but that’s a minor gripe and it can be easily stored by the tone arm under the dust cover when not in use. Also nice is the blue back lit LCD display. It’s very large and legible, and while not ideal at night, the blue light is inoffensive for listening in a dark room- unlike some stereos that may have excess LEDs or worse -a very bright white display. The CD player with the slide out drawer is nice also. Also the digital tuner that offers FM and AM bands. Even without the included basic wire antenna extended it seems to pull in stations well enough. So far everything works and sounds great on this unit. The auto return feature is what I like the most. It’s a decent stereo for the price. Overall I’m very satisfied, and would recommend. Looking forward to many hours of enjoyment from this stereo!

The media could not be loaded.I’m absolutely in love with this unit. This one is not my first one but because of the front speakers it’s my favorite. It plays cd, cassettes, records, Bluetooth, or through an sd card. My phone can plug directly into it. I love how easy it is to connect and use. Sounds amazing. Gives me every playing option without all the extra equipment. It even has microphone ports so the girls can sing with their favorites. I can’t say enough good things about it. It even scans on radio mode until it finds a station for you. It does almost everything.

I bought a speaker but I needed a turntable for it. I found this one that’s like crazy good for the price. I tested everything and it worked perfectly. It can play vinyl, CDs, radio, USB, SD, cassettes, Bluetooth, you name it! I even hooked it up to my old speaker. The sound and radio reception are great, it looks awesome, and I love the blue light. It’s like the perfect mix of vintage and modern. Definitely worth the wait, I highly recommend it.

I still collect physical media. I already have all of these devices separately. I like that this one unit covers CDs, tapes, records, USB, and AM/FM. I have tested each at this point. For records, I appreciate that it has a tone arm so the records do not get damaged. My last record player did not have this. I like that it came with a 45 adaptor. For the AM/FM radio, I appreciate the digital tuner. I also really love the sensitivity of the tuner. It picks up stations that other radios I own does not. I do wish it had HD Radio but it does not.For the tape portion, it seems to handle cassettes well. It not only plays tapes but it can also record them. For the CD drive, it plays both regular store bought CDs and CD-R discs well. The CD door opens surprisingly quickly. The USB portion is what you expect. The MP3s that I tested worked very well. You can skip forward and behind to the next track. You can also record to the USB which I appreciate. You can record from the radio but also from other media like records and cassettes. It’s an easy way to transfer some older media to a digital format. This is a fun device that has me appreciating my music collection in a unique way again.

It’s good, with good sound, but no treble or bass adjustment. The sound is good, I want, but if you are looking for great bass sound quality.
