This is perfect for anyone with an older vehicle that doesn’t have a backup camera. I have an older truck with none of the new options, and this camera added backup camera abilities for hooking my hitch to trailer. I can also see using it on the back of our camper, also. It connects to your phone initially via bluetooth, then connects via a wifi connection. The app is clean and easy to use. I found connection to be stable, and more importantly, lag-free. I mounted the camera magnetically to the tailgate of my truck, and also tried the cab roof. Magnetic hold is super-strong. Dirt road tested, it is not coming off! Another added benefit, it can record to your phone during use, so it’s like a rear view dash cam. 5 stars and two thumbs up!
