I bought these cables for my Digitrax Digital Command Control (DCC) model train system. Digitrax uses straight wired cables to carry the Loconet signal to the track so trains can be controlled individually. One of my cables that I had made myself stopped working and it was much easier to buy these than make another one myself. These cables are not wired the same as computer cables and are straight wired as advertised. They plugged in and worked perfectly. I am very happy with these cables.

I like to move my Valentine 1 radar detector between my different vehicles and I wanted to permanently wire up each car, instead of having wires hanging down in the car. These RJ12 wires work great for my purpose. I previously tried some cheaper RJ11 cables, and even though they were wired correctly, they couldn’t carry enough current to operate the V1, but these RJ12 cables work great. Anyways, the clips are good and they are a good length for running from the center console, under the dash, up inside the windshield pillars, and out to the top of the windshield. I recommend these cables to use with the V1.

So we have a very old AT&T phone system in our building but it works and connects all of our classrooms so why replace it for something we would have to pay a monthly fee on? We did have a couple rooms that had some issues and it turned out they needed new cords, these are more robust than the cords you get for home phones and exactly what we needed!
