I use the cable to extend the remote camera control for more flexibility. The connections are tight and moisture resistant…

Needed to extend a cord from rear speakers to TV. The plug fits the size of the speaker cord. Works well.

I bought this 2.5mm stereo cable to extend my Neweer (labeled as Shoot brand) EZA-C1 remote shutter release with my Canon G15. It works perfectly with the remote / G15, and seems nicely made and rugged. It wouldn’t work for headphones for me since all of my headphones use the 3.5mm plugs, but it does exactly what I wanted it to do. Now I have a 15 foot wired release / intervalometer for my Canon G15 for a very low price.

I was able to run this from my projector, fish through the ceiling and connect to my receiver. I had to do some pulling to get the wire through the ceilings and was worried I might ruin the wire but in the end it worked out. Thanks.

I am using this with a remote shutter release/intervalometer for a Canon 6D DSLR. My remote has a 2.5mm TRS jack rather than a hard-wired cable, so this cable sits between the remote and the coiled 2.5mm TRS/C3 cable that came with the remote. I secure the 2.5mm TRS/C3 cable to the camera’s L bracket with hook/loop strap and then attach this 12-foot extension to the 2.5mm male end of that. This provides me with a nice breakaway so that any kind of tension on the cable will cause it to disconnect rather than develop a short.

The media could not be loaded.I have a Cannon T5 and I use a remote shutter to take all of my own cosplay photos but the cord on the remote was too short. I am happy to say after previously buying the wrong size input I bought this one and it works perfectly! the 2.5mm input fits just right into my cameras audio jack and I can use my remote shutter just like always but now just further away if i need <3 A perfect solution for me for the best price!
