This Bluetooth connector is doing a great job transmitting from my piano to my headphones. I briefly tested the receiver functionality between my phone and car radio, and all went well there too. The small size is great for staying out of the way, and the set-up was straightforward. The battery lasts me about ten hours.Though I don’t intend to use this for phone calls in the car, I gave it a try just to find out: background noise was fine, but voice quality was not particularly good. People on the other end of the call had a hard time understanding the person using the built-in microphone.Dual inputs worked smoothly in the car, as did the track controls. I haven’t yet tried two outputs at the same time but am looking forward to that for whenever a second person wants to hear someone playing the piano but we don’t want to bother the rest of the household.

If you have an older a/v reciever that doesn’t have Bluetooth get this. Plug it In via rca cables and you have a connection for your Bluetooth devices.

Honestly a rather clever way to plumb a tablet or phone to audio equipment as long as there’s nearby power. Bluetooth reception distance is pretty okay in an open room, but I did note that this does NOT like ANY obstruction including shelves that may be in the same room but facing a different direction even if still within the 20-60′ radius. Thus, you’ll want to keep you source transmission OR receiving device with a clear shot to wherever you plug in at (this also means you won’t be able to plug this in back behind your equipment shelves or cabinetry to be out of sight – it needs to be in the open).
