The media could not be loaded.The 5.8mm shrinks down tight to 22 gauge wire, but slides on the wire. 20 gauge shrinks tight & does not slide. Very readable. The dimension given (5.8mm or .23″) is the heat shrink when flat, not the size of the ID. Fits up to 16 gauge aviation wire well. May fit 14g with some wiggling.

I don’t know why you would spend the money on the name brand version. These are just as good. The labels print nicely and the adhesive is pretty good.

This heat shrink labeling tape really takes the guess work out of wiring when applied to your wires. It also shrinks around they wire adding an additional layer of corrosion resistance. Just make sure you know what size tape your labeling machine uses and order accordingly as there are many sizes available. My Brother machine did tend to waste more than I liked, but that was the machine and not the tapes fault.
