The Suckoo 2 Port Displayport 1.4 Switcher 2 in 1 Out 1 in 2 Out Bi Directional Converter Sharer is a functional monitor/device switch. What’s in the box: Bi-Directional displayport switcher, USB-C to USB-A power cord, and user manual. My experience: I wanted this switcher to connect my work computer and my gaming rig to a single monitor. My work computer displays at 1080P at 60Hz. The switch passed the signal flawlessly through to my monitor. I had my gaming rig set for 1080P at 144Hz. When I ran this video signal through the switcher, the video blinked and was unusable. I set my gaming rig to 60Hz and then the switcher worked as expected. According to the manual, the switcher supports 8K @ 30Hz, 4K @ 120Hz and 1080P @ 240Hz. My video cards would not allow me to test the 1080P @ 240Hz. I do not have gear to test the 4K and 8K modes. The switcher does not come with a power adapter so you either need to purchase a 5V USB-A power brick or have 5V USB-A power available from a USB hub. The switcher requires 3 displayport cables which are not included. The manual also states that the sum of the input and output wires should not exceed 3 meters (~10 feet). Switching could not be easier with a single button to go between inputs/outputs. The real beauty of this unit is that it is bi-directional in that you can connect two devices to a single monitor or two monitors to a single device (however you can not display on both monitors simultaneously). For display only setups, this unit will work as long as you can match the resolution and the frequency to those supported by the switcher. At the price point of this unit, I would purchase again.
