So I needed another pair (red & black) of these but rather than purchase the same as my last set (which I gave 5-stars) I decided to grab these to see if the one minor gripe with my other pair is solved with these.Construction on these is robust. As with my other pair, the bottoms of the posts are isolated so it can be mounted on a conductive surface without additional materials. The gripe with my my other pair is that the top cover collapses when screwed down too tight. The reason for that is there are only support legs at the ends. If you look at this pair, the top cover has support legs between each post which you cut off if any of them get in the way. I like this option as it foully supports the covers and I can tighten them down securely. I had to use thread locker on my other pair and barely finger tighten them. The small screw downs are great (my other pair has them as well) as I always end up connecting low draw devices that have small connectors so fir me, they are almost a must.–They are not necessary however if you are going to wire in a fuse block. As for the included lugs and loops, the copper lugs are good but the heat shrink is flimsy. I tossed out the small loop connectors as I prefer ones that have heat shrink.

Worked great for my trunk battery/amplifier installation. Nice thick busbar and good quality studs make attaching you wire a breeze. The nylon cover is sturdy and works well at preventing accidental shorts. It comes with several #8 crimp or solder terminals you can use. I used this to install an extra battery and an amplifier in my trunk and it worked great.

Used these on my truck for power distribution – way better than those silly top-post adapters. Feel sturdy and safe – I’m really happy with them.

I am in the process of adding additional lights to my Polaris side-by-side UTV. I am adding lights to the front and back and will need to run wiring for these. Rather than run individual wires from the battery I am using these terminal blocks to distribute power. I will run heavy gauge wires to the block and smaller gauge wires from there to the lights. This will simplify the wiring and gives me room for future additions. The 250 amp rating is much more than needed so I won’t have any voltage drop using them. With four 62.5 amp terminals and three 20 amp terminals I should have all the capacity I will ever need. I like the nylon covers that protect against accidental shorts. It includes large and small ring terminals with red and black sections of heat shrink tubing for the large terminals. It includes mounting screws and even a drive bit for them. All together, these will allow me to do a professional installation with room to grow.

I can confidently say that these busbars are among the best I have ever ordered. The quality is outstanding, and I have successfully connected them to my 24V 400Ah battery bank. They are extremely useful as they have four bolts to connect different devices such as inverters and shunts. The bolts are made of strong and thick iron, I believe they are size M10. Additionally, they have caps to prevent any contact with exposed electrical components. I highly recommend them.

This is an excellent set of power distribution bus bars. The good:All provided hardware appears to be stainless steel. You also get 8 copper, heavy duty 3/8″ crimp ring terminals for 8AWG wire with 8 pieces of heat shrink tubing (4 black, 4 red) and 6 insulated yellow ring terminals 10-12AWG wire. There is a molded plastic cover that is held in place with two plastic cap nuts on the end terminals to prevent accidentally contacting the terminals from above. I was pleasantly surprised to find the terminals are all 3/8″ with 11/16″ nuts and not metric. The not so good:Most of these items are minor but they do need to be considered. This is why I only gave it 4 stars. The bus bar is mounted into the plastic mount with only 2 small screws into the plastic about 1/4″ deep. The plastic provides the force to keep the lugs stationary while you attach the nuts over the cables so if the force is too great, you could round-out the plastic, making it more difficult to assemble. Once assembled, it is only these two screws keeping the bus bar in the mount with the force of any cable weight or tension pulling it out. I would strongly recommend supporting your cabling and using cable straps to secure it to keep things from moving. The covers are cut nicely to allow for larger cables to attach to the lugs. However you can see in photo 2 that the dividers between each lug are directly in front of the smaller screws for attaching the 10-12 AWG ring terminals if you needed to use those, you will likely have to cut out one or more of the legs in the middle of the cover.Again, the down sides are relatively minor depending on how you plan to use these and many of these items could be easily mitigated.

Added these blocks to my enclosed trailer 12v battery expansion. They worked great. Heavy duty build with weather resistant plastic. Should load up for a long time.
