I’m using this to split the analog audio out from my desktop computer to either my PreSonus monitor speakers and my Audiotechnica headphones. It works as described and does not detract at all from the sound quality without this unit.Previously I was plugging an unplugging my headphones from the front panel of my desktop. This YGITK device enables me to click between the speakers and headphones plus have access to a mute button. Highly recommended.

I have multiple sets of speakers in my room. I use different ones depending on what I’m listening to/what time it is/where I’m sitting. This little switch lets you easily switch between two audio sources, which works good for me as I just hooked the second output up to a Bluetooth transmitter (allowing me to use multiple speakers on one output).Mute button is a nice feature. Really, the only downside is that you’ll need additional cables to get this to work for the outputs, but you could probably guess that anyway.

I got this with the plan in mind to enable me switching between a headset and speakers from my gaming computer, but when I got it I thought about it and decided to instead use it in the opposite direction – connecting both the gaming computer and the iMac to the speakers. And it works like a charm! The included cable is a little short, but since you obviously need three cables in total you can just use that one to connect whichever part of the setup is closest to where you want to keep this. The box is super tiny but solidly built, the metal gives it enough heft to stay in place and the buttons are both easily toggled and very clearly marked.I’m no audiophile, and I don’t usually listen to music on either of these computers but I haven’t noticed any audio quality loss in games or videos at least.

Box is small and does one simple thing, switch between two 3.5 mmm jacks. I use it to switch between headphones. It works.
