If you use a DSLR or any rig with a hot or cold shoe on top this is a great accessory to have. Sometimes you have no time to raise the camera to your eye before the opportunity passes. In that instance you just press the shutter and hope you got lucky. Having this thing to glance at gives you a chance to keep it more or less level without any fuss or delay.Bonus, you get several so you can keep a spare and gift a couple to yr fellow shooters.

For some reason it doesn’t take long for me to lose the hot shoe covers that come with my cameras. You want to keep the hot shoe protected and these do a great job of that. They fit tight for great protection and the level is very useful. Good value for the money. If you are like me, you will lose some of these as well, so order extras.
