The media could not be loaded.Well made metal case gives it a premium look. That little display is very useful. Controls are not that intuitive. But once you get hang with them, they are not bad. One thing I like is that it can work and charge at the same time. This is a small light. I use it as a side light for video and pictures.

This is a high quality camera light but can serve other purposes like a work light or camp light. I really enjoy the feel of the aluminum alloy and the sturdiness of the case, yet it only weighs as much as a feather.The USB-C charging is a big pro, I refuse to buy anything without USB-C charging these days. The light is very easy to use, there’s two wheels on the left to control dimming and color changing. There’s two buttons on the top, one for power, and the other is to change the mode from white light to strobe to color.

I’ve been using this light with my Panasonic G95 for video. The brightness, as well as the color temperature, is adjustable and it has a small digital display on the backside telling you what the setting is. Sadly, the battery doesn’t last long at bright levels so plan on running with an external battery pack connected to the light via USB cable. I really like it as the light is as bright as you want and with the temperature setting, without the soul-destroying, eerie-blue light! That said on the unit I received, I’ve got one huge problem: I must press the on button 10 times or more to get the thing to turn on. The same button turns it off with a single touch. I have a hard time turning the gizmo on, but not off. If the on button worked better, I’d given this fun, little light five out of five stars!

This light is very bright and works quite well for photography, streaming, or other video work. Although I wish the light settings were a little more customizable (at least on the cycling modes), the aluminum case feels nice and sturdy without making the device too heavy. The battery seems to last quite a while, although I have only used it on the dimmer settings as a fill light. Bonus points for being USB-C rechargeable 🙂
