Good Basic Speaker for Center Channel. Actually has 2 speakers inside. Mine is hooked up to a very old 5 channel Techniques Receiver from the late 1990s

I put this with my low budget surround sound system through a newer Sony receiver. the quality of the speaker itself is both surprising and fantastic, it is a heavy duty well put together speaker that can withstand a lot. It sounds more than what you would expect for a $30 center speaker, it has good clear dialogue audio but every now and then can sound boxy depending on what is playing through it but not enough for me to be mad, taken out of the experience or want to get a new one. if you are looking for a cheap speaker to round out your sound this one is definitely recommended

I just wanted a small center speaker because I had a nice sound system and TV, although not the latest. It stikk had most of the big audio/video advances of the last five years. I watch a lot of streaming in UHD, 4K, and OLED, which my equipment can handle. So I needed to do the audio digital hookup to the amp and add the center speaker. This worked well. It is not surround, but I’m satisfied. On occasion, the audio is mised funny and the dialog is too faint, so I switch to 2 channel stereo, but that’s not the speaker’s fault.

This speaker is great I have used it for both music and movies. It really does perform well.=================================Pros:SmallLight Weight125 Watts @ 6 Ohms ( I think)=================================Cons:Non removable speaker coveringMounting bracket. (personally I dont like the single mount but it seams to be sturdy!)It is SMALL!=================================Conclusion:I love this speaker but it does have problems but it is a GREAT SPEAKER FOR THE PRICE. I do know that I said the size is a pro and a con. I would have liked it to be a bit bigger but it preforms just like the one I have at home (I am in college).

I got this because I needed a center channel speaker but didn,t have a lot of money to invest in one figered I would keep this till I could aford a better one however when I hooked it up it sounded pretty good and was keeping up with much larger more costly speakers It seams to be well constructed and for its small size is kind of heavy. I listen to alot of SACDs and watch movies in 5.1 surround. I am very happy with this product. The only thing I did,t like is the grilcover dosen,t come off but thats no biggy.

UPDATE 11/2019:It has survived a move and is still functioning at the same level as when I first got it. I don’t have kids or a pet so that may help but in still impressed by the durability of this speaker.ORIGINAL REVIEW FROM 2016:It makes sound, it’s affordable, and it looks good. As a beginner in the audio world, I’m honestly not hugely concerned with sound quality. All I can say is that it plugs in easily and I can hear what I’m supposed to hear (actors’ voices, music, etc), and can’t hear what I’m not supposed to hear (fuzziness or rattling, etc).I would recommend.
