So, I bought the product “renewed” or “refurbished”, so let’s get that out of the way first. The left ear cup has a tiny bit of “fold” to it on the backside, but doesn’t interfere with fitment in the least. I don’t wear them for the looks anyway.I own roughly 16 pair of headphones, most studio-grade. Not gonna go through the list at this time. These headphones are ?????? the most comfortable pair I’ve ever owned, hands down. I especially enjoy the fact that the earpads are very easy to cleaned, which can’t be said of headphones with velour earpads (I’m looking at you, Beyerdynamic). I have normal-sized ears and though the sides of my ears do occasionally brush the inside edge, depending on what I’m doing, it doesn’t irritate them. They also do not get hot in any way, but I live in a home with a stable climate, so keep that in mind. The sound is great. At first, I had to reacclimate to “flat” sounding headphones, though the claim that these cans are closer to the “Harmon Line” than others seems to be true enough. The best part is that they REALLY shine to some decent amplification. I don’t really use a dedicated DAC, since I really don’t need one (high quality motherboards nowadays do just fine IMO). Music and movies really “pop” in a way they haven’t before, though that’s with casual use. During any editing sessions I find myself in, I find myself using less “corrective measures” when dealing with loudness or distortion, which is a ??? ????.Since they are closed-back, one would wonder about the sound isolation of their surroundings, and I will say this does the job quite well with the included earpads. They conform nicely with the sides of my head and while they still let some frequency ranges through, none of them interfere if I’m actively listening to anything. These are top-tier for anything with podcasting or single-instrument recording w/ feedback.HIGHLY recommend.

I bought these because they’re supposedly close to the Harman curve and I wanted to see what that was like. The answer is “wonderful.” They’re goldilocks headphones, not too much of anything, not too little of anything. No harsh glares, no weird booms, just smoothly competent and comfortable sound. I ended up doing some Brainwavz hybrid pads for comfort, and it’s winning combination. I’m a full-on headphone dweeb and have a large collection, and this is what I recommend to people wanting to step up to hi-fi from regular consumer brands. No complaints yet!

Tienen buen sonido. Lo que poco me gusta es que el cable es muy rígido y cualquier rose me produce ruido en mis oídos y me molesta.

I purchased this as a renewed product and it did arrive looking like new. The only way I could tell it was opened was because one of the earpads wasn’t on all the way and I can see why.The headphones themselves are quite comfortable and the sound quality is, in my subjective opinion, excellent. I wanted headphones that matched the harman curve as close as possible without EQ modifications. More specifically I wanted some actual bass in my headphones as many of the “audiophile” or “monitor” headphones have no bass. It’s a bit funny actually because many audiophiles or those into high end headphones praise flat frequency responses yet many of those headphones are “flat” until around 70Hz or lower, which then “flat” turns into a roller coaster into the void of no sub-bass.These headphones do indeed have a slight boost in the sub-bass range, enough to “feel the bass” but not overwhelming. The headband is some sort of silicon material which is great because many headbands are often made of fake leather which then flakes away and can’t be replaced. The earpads on these are fake leather but at least they’re replaceable.3 Cons:The earpads are comfortable but fit a bit weird. It may be because of a lack of clamping pressure at the bottom but sometimes when my head is turned I can hear sounds in my environment and some of the base goes away. In other words, the “seal” around the ears can be a hit or miss. It seals 95% of the time. The cables that come with the headphones are nice but the end that plugs into the headset needs some help. It’s a mini XLR (female) end that isn’t very common and sticks out way too far from the headphones. Wearing a collared shirt while turning the head is annoying as the cable end snags on the shirt constantly.Lastly there’s the connecting point between the “silicon” headband and the earcups. They do bend apart and separate a bit when stretching out the headphones to place onto the head. I’ve seen reviews mentioning breakage at this location and I could see why. I’ve only had these headphones short term so time will tell but there’s certainly a structural weak point here.

I connect these headphones to my iFi Go Blu dac. So very pleased. Happy listening.
