This is an excellent quality ball head adapter for my panel light. The adapter tightens very securely using a flat tab as opposed to the round knob. It also has a 1/4” attachment screw in the cold-shoe mount so you can attach this to either cold shoe or 1/4” screw. The one thing I wish it comes with is a convertible head that can either be male 1/4” screw or female cold shoe. I had the convertible head on my other ball head adapter and it’s incredibly helpful to have and making it very versatile for different situations. Otherwise, this is a must-have in your camera gear kit and I highly recommend it.
