I have a Sony a6600 camera. I’ve had only one battery – so, if I take a lot of photos, like I did recently at a family reunion, I have to cut back due to fears of depleting the battery. These two Sony-compatible batteries make it possible to take as many photos as I want. They fit perfectly into the battery compartment of my a6600 and they work flawlessly. The kit comes with two batteries and a charging cable (you need to supply the charging block) that has two ends – you can charge BOTH batteries at the same time (see photo). It took me about 3 hours to charge both batteries at the same time straight out of the box.The price is right, and the two batteries work perfectly. I see no reason to buy a much more expensive Sony battery when you can get two less expensive ones that you can charge at the same time.

Charges directly into the battery. No bulky charging hardware.

I ordered these as backup batteries for my a7iv and they work way better than I thought they would. They last a pretty long time when compared to the name brand batteries and the charger lets you charge both batteries at the same time. I like these!

They claim 2500mAh capacity while Sony OEM battery is rated 2280mAh. How real that claim is tough to validate because I’d need this battery and Sony OEM battery to be both brand new. My Sony battery is about 7-8 months old and has gone through at least a couple of dozen charge cycles. So its capacity may be slightly diminished already.Anyway, I ran a recording test by charging up both batteries to 100% and running a recording session in my FX30 at 4K. The Sony dropped 29% in 35 minutes of recording and this Artman dropped 20% in 31 minutes of recording. If I were to linearly extrapolate that performance, the Sony would have given me 120 minutes of total recording on a 100% charged battery and the Artman would have given me 155 minutes! That’s quite encouraging. I didn’t run multiple tests or run them all the way down to 0%. So my testing isn’t thorough enough to confidently proclaim that this is better than Sony, but I’m encouraged. The battery didn’t get any warmer than the Sony while in use. So no heat issues.Of course this battery costs less than half of the OEM and as a bonus you can directly plug in to USB-C for charging.I have no idea how good their quality control and safety testing are compared to a name brand like Sony, but if you are into cheaper non-OEM batteries, I think this is a good bet. btw, I have 3 other non-OEM FZ100 batteries and none of them performed as well as this one in initial tests.

Review for: “Artman 2-Pack NP-FZ100 Battery 2500mAh with Type-C Charging for Sony FX3, FX30, A7 III, A7S III,A7 IV, A7R III, A7C, A9, A6600, A6700, ZV-E1, A7R IV, A7R V, A7R3, A7R4, A9 II A9 III, A9R, A9S, Camera”The battery fit Sony A6700 very well. Out of the box it is about 80% charge, and works fine with Sony A6700.It has USB-C port for direct charging without any special charger dock. There is a red LED that turn green when fully charged. It comes with unique USB-A to dual USB-C cable to enable charging 2 batteries at the same time by using only one USB-Z charger. It is actually a space saver for traveling light, because we don’t need to bring the charger dock. No USB charger provided.I cannot confirmed the claimed 2500 mAh capacity, but at least it is on par with the genuine Sony NP-FZ100 (rated 2280 mAh),For the asking price ($55.99 for 2 pcs) it is in average price range compared to other third party batteries.Time will tell the longevity after many cycles of use.

I love these batteries. I used them in my FX-3 and my A7C-ii, and both cameras recognize them as authentic (when I use other third-party batteries, I sometimes get a warning message, but not with these). They don’t require a separate charger, which is great for packing, as they have a USB-C port right on them (and it comes with a dual-headed charging cord, that allows you to charge both batteries, without a standalone charger). Emprically, they seem to last as long, if not longer, than my Sony brand batteries. And, unlike other third-party brands, they don’t make the camera get hot, but they do heat up during charging. The cost is equivalent to other third-party brands, but it’s half the cost of Sony-brand batteries.
