It is what I bought and paid for and I didn’t expect much to be able to be wrong with something like this. It’s expensive for what it is compared to other wall plates doing different jobs in stainless but I looked everywhere online and this was the lowest of the prices. I guess it’s just the going rate and I chose to pay it so not going to slate them for it after buying it.

I used this when I was installing my LCD TV above my fireplace. I used this with theLeviton 690-W 2-Gang Recessed Duplex Receptacle and QuickPort Plate, Whiterecessed box with power outlet and it works great. It’s a little more expensive then say coax/rca/etc keystones, but it was worth the money. I’m very happy with my purchase.

Purchased these to organize all cabling in a corporate conference room to clean up the A/V area. This, combined with the keystone ports for all the necessary cabling, allowed the running of power and network access to the computer, and then the running of all A/V from the computer to the projector. Keeping all ports available at all times without climbing on top of the conference room table to reach the ceiling mounted projector was amazing. These are very clean looking, high quality, sturdy, and as advertised.

I bought this because of a remodel and my wife wanted to be able to connect her laptop to the wall-mounted TV. I installed this and tested it out. It works perfectly and looks professionally installed. The added benefit is that If ever needed, the capability is there to also transmit sound. This product is well-made and should stand up to many years of use.

I’m not sure every good product deserves the absolutely perfect rating. That being said, these modular inserts are great. They really make your multimedia area look clean and professional. You typically don’t unplug and reinsert cables after you get things set up so they should be durable enough and they’re extremely versitale. I’ve used these for all kinds of connections: ethernet, a/v interconects, speaker wire, etc., and never broken one. I wouldn’t exactly go yanking on anything plugged in, but if you’re up for running cables through walls and such, I suspect you’re not the kind of person who is abusive of your work anyway.

I purchased three of these for various projects. In one installation the DirectTV box was to sit on a bar counter with the monitor across the room mounted in new shelving. The DirectTV box takes COAX in and HDMI out inputs. I installed one of these at the DirectTV box and another at the monitor location and used a 15′ long HDMI cable to connect them. The DirectTV installer used a short HMDI cord from the box to the first one of these outlets and then I used another short HMDI cable from the second one to the monitor. The flexible cords on the back of this outlet help make the connections in narrow stud spaces. Very nice.

Purchased 50x for a school interactive display rollout project. No issues with any of them. We used the Arlington 2-gang LV2 remodel mudring and all is secure and looks great.
