I got a personalized text message with a picture of my purchased wrap and shipping label before it was to be boxed up and shipped. Nice touch! Quick shipping from China…it took about a week. Very impressed with the build quality of this lens wrap. I did quite a bit of research and many of the leading brands seem to have unfinished edges to their neoprene wraps and I was put off by that. The hemmed edges of the Chasing Birds wrap looks great and gives me confidence that it will last on my Canon 300mm f2.8 IS for as long as I need it to. The feel is great and one benefit that I hadn’t thought of was the fact that it shields my hands from the cold metal of the lens making it more comfortable to hold in the field. The wrap is also thinner than I expected with a premium feel to it. The only thing I did not like was the cover flap for the lens control switches. I ended up cutting this off as I access those switches often and to have a flap getting in my way was not ideal. Luckily, that section had a sewn seam right where I needed to cut it off so I know it won’t wear unevenly or unravel at the cut point. Minor nit pick and I still will award 5 stars. Highly recommend Chasing Birds.
