This item screws onto the lens for mounting the Cokin Series P filter system. Way cheaper than buying filters for each lens.

I bought it for my Cokin P series filter kit on Tamron 24-70mm G2 lens and it works perfect. it is aluminium and as mentioned by others as well may get damaged easily so be careful but don’t be afraid at the same time. it does what it is meant to do.

This product fits my lens and fits my filter holderHowever, it’s worth noting that the BP 400A holder (the one that takes three filters) it vignettes quite badly on my Canon 24-70L f/2.8 Mark II. Technically Cokin don’t recommend that filter holder for focal lengths under 28mm, but I’ve never had a problem before since my lens filter rings have been quite a bit smaller.
