These banana plugs are very high quality. I used them to connect my home surround sound system using a good quality, 12 gauge stranded speaker cable. I tried a few different wire stripping lengths before finding the perfect one. After that, it was easy to assemble all of my cables. I would buy these again.

Kind of expensive but definitely worth it. These are the easiest, most reliable no solder (and no hassle) banana jacks I have ever come across. I think back on all the years I spent soldering together custom speaker cables or fiddling with set screws on the older non-solder jacks. These are so easy and quick to set up and the wires definitely will not come loose. The design of the conductor retaining mechanism really locks the stranded speaker wire in place and also maximizes the surface contact area of the wire to the plug. The jacks themselves are really stable and have just the right amount of retention into the jack plug of my Denon AV receiver and my whole house speaker distribution/switcher system. The diameter and grip on the housing also makes the plugs very easy to handle and gives the wiring a very professional look. I only wish I had known about these earlier. Definitely deserves 5 stars or more IMHO. I highly recommend theses to anyone who needs to build their own custom length banana jack cables.
