This is a great quality softbox for the godox mount. Its nice to be able to get rid of adapers with my Ad300pro…however, as others have mentioned, you cant just fold it up. You have to take whatever inner layer you chose to put in there out, which also means you have to take off the outter baffle. The other problem is that while its neat to be able to change colors on you bounce disks, you cannot run both a inner baffle and bounce disk at the same time. I am used to having a metal bounce disc as well as being able to use the inner baffle at the same time. Kinda disappointing. I would give it 5 stars if it weren’t for these design flaws. Just using the two baffles looks great, but I haven’t tested it with just the bounce ids s.

This is an incredible product with a tremendous amount of versatility.First, it has a Godox mount, which is a small version of the Bowens mount. It works great, pairs beautifully to the built-in mount on the AD300, and significantly reduces size and hassle. It does not, however, attach directly to Bowens mount light modifiers. For that you would need their bracket holders to make the conversion.It is a spring-loaded umbrella soft box. Push down on the hub to lock; press the button to release. That’s it. There are numerous spines making it very sturdy and circular. One caution. Because of that, it does take a good push to lock in, and pops out with a significant snap.It comes with an array of attachments. The small circular reflectors Velcro in the inner layer, providing black, white, and warm options. Because they are smaller in diameter than the soft box, light spills around them, so they act somewhat like beauty dishes.It also comes with an outer diffuser, and light baffles.Variations of the above provide numerous lighting options in a compact, light weight, and easy to assemble unit. Perfect for my needs.
