   I use this has a snoot with my speedlight. It slide right on to the flash.It is very sturdy as you would expect from Godox.This would be more useful out of the box if Godox included slides to use with it.

   Great set of snoot accessories made to work with most speedlight models. They attach easily to the front of my speedlight, and make it easy to customize the look that I’m going for. Its a little pricey though, but the quality is good and seems built to last.

   I think I’m going to like this product a lot more when I buy some useful transparencies to use in it. In the box there are only 2 transparencies, one displaying “GODOX”, and the other as seen in the accompanying photos. That’s it. It really should come with more so customers aren’t immediately frustrated, and that’s why I deduct 1 star from the rating. I recommend to anyone who buys this to get the version of the AK-R21 with 10 transparencies ($98.90), or the kit with 60 ($133.90).The included 65mm projection lens meant I needed some distance to obtain a very large image. In the photo with my 120″ theater projection screen, the image fell far short of reaching the floor-to-ceiling height of my basement room, and I took that shot from 14 feet away. In the wall paper shot I matched my lens focal length to the 65mm of the AK-R21 and shot from 6 feet distance. The transparency graphic fills the frame, but that’s a pretty small bit of wall.Vignetting is free. But I doubt it matters at all in this kind of photography. You can also achieve good sharpness when wanted or whatever amount of blur you might prefer.I found Godox gives good advice when it suggested placing the AK-R21/flash combo on a light stand or tripod. Results come much quicker than handholding.For anyone interested, the photos where taken with a Godox V1 flash at maximum zoom as per instructions.This is a device for photographers who want to do some imaginative work and don’t mind tinkering to get the results. Sounds like fun.

   I ordered this snoot, thinking that it would work with one of my Canon flashes as the sales text says: ” So it’s compatible with A…nearly all the camera flashes across brands.” What I didn’t realize until I got it and read the somewhat paltry direction is: “series of supporting accessories are perfect choice to hold andhide the AK-R21” meaning you will need to purchase another adapter piece in order to get this to work on a flash that is not a Godox. Comes with a astandard 65mm projection lens, which is pretty good for a snoot since its whole purpose is to project the light. It also comes with two useless films which project a busy random pattern and the Godox logo, pretty self-indulgent and sort of useless. It forces you to buy more accesory films for this thing. Construction-wise it looks pretty good, and as long as you don’t let it fall off the light stand, it should last a long while. I will update this review after I order the optional Canon flash attachement adapter piece.
