I haven’t used the tape for long, but so far so good. One issue is possibly due to the vcr recorder I’m using and perhaps doesn’t have anything to do with the tape. It won’t let me choose any other length than the default SP of 2hrs. The Maxell box says it can do LP and EP/SLP modes.

What can I say? It works just as well as the other brand of tape I purchased at the same time for the VCR used Sunday night at 9:00. Perhaps the other seller didn’t have two in stock since I doubt anyone has been breaking down doors to get to VCRs since DVRs made their appearance years ago. But who knows for sure?

So far this has worked great. I ordered several since they are getting so hard to find. I’ve used 2 for recording shows then reused. No problems with them so far. Price was good and so far so good. Won’t know how long they last till more time and use has passed. Will update if anything would change.

Not bad quality but not anywhere near TDK EHG. Used one to record at HQ (1 hr), a documentary and degradation from the original digital was noticeable. It still is much better than prerecorded tapes, which frequently are awful. It does make you appreciate DVDs.
