This was such a great investment for photos

Boxes work great for what I needed. I keep my fly tying supplies in them and they a perfect for my needs. They stay closed and easy to open. Would buy again.

After days of searching for the Iris containers that accommodate hanging folders and have a handle and finding none settled on these. I just read enough to see if 12 x 12 paper would fit without actually paying attention to the actual measurements. So, I was disappointed to see that they are slim line boxes. only about 1″ inside, 1.5″ outside. Had planned to fit Simple Stories Collections into 6 of them, and use 2 for 49 & Market collections, and use the last two for scraps of decimated Tim Holtz paper pads. One inch is not much room. All 10 were used for Simple Stories. About 40 sheets of 12×12 fit, plus a 6×6 or 6/8 pad ephemera/bits & pieces packages, chipboard, and a few embellishments. So really the most I can get into 1 case is two collections that are new if I haven’t bought extra pages. Use one case for collections that I’ve used and can fit 3-5 collections of scraps and a handful of full 12×12 pages and mostly used ephemera/bits & pieces packages. As for the lids not closing and the cases being warped. I found this to be true. Both can be worked around with some patience, but of the 10 only 3 closed and snapped on the first try. (After filling then opening and closing some of them, I would say that they got worse instead of the plastic learning where to snap together at.) Only in my dreams do I have a paper crafting room with shelves that I could stack these on their sides. They appear to be strong enough to stack on top of each other, but I always seem to want the one on bottom and it was very difficult to pull out one without moving at least half of what is on top of it. I ended up cutting off the flaps of the box they came in and keep them in the box on an extended part of my craft table. Latch side is up so when I pull them out, I can hold it close as I pull it out of the box so if it has come unlatched papers don’t go flying. With all that said, I did order 10 more. $7.20/case is NOT A GOOD value in my opinion, but I needed something where paper, stickers, chipboard, ephemera of one collection would all stay together, and this does work for that.*****Two months later, the lid’s not snapping close properly is very aggravating. Because it doesn’t snap easily, I tend to just close the lid and set it to the side when I’m working out with a collection. Inevitably it will be set in a place that is more convenient than it is safe and have ended up scrambling to catch the case when happy labrador tails come in to say, “let’s go play ball”.

Great product, and impeccable customer service. I had an issue and contacted them on a holiday Sunday. They responded that day and worked the issue to satisfaction. Cannot sing enough praises for this seller!

I have enjoyed folding origami for over twenty years. I have stacks and stacks of origami paper in the house. I have a wood sorting rack in a back closet, but there are many times that I need to have my origami paper out with me. Maybe I’m working on folding earrings on the futon, or maybe I’m traveling to a craft show, or maybe I’m doing a demonstration at a library. There are all sorts of reasons I need to carry and move the origami paper safely. These 6″x6″ (interior) plastic cases by Iris are PERFECT. The outside is larger than 6″x6″. They are measuring the space inside, for holding the paper secure.Origami paper traditionally comes in a 150mm x 150mm size. That equates to about 5 7/8″ square. The paper fits absolutely wonderfully into this space. I want to note that the bends in the box do NOT squash or bother the corners of the paper at all. The interior of the box is constructed so that paper 6″ x 6″ fits quite nicely in the open space. The rest of the “curved corners” simply add to the solidity of the structure so it holds up under weight. The lids seal quite nicely and do not come loose. The pieces also stack very well into each other. In reading some other reviews, I was worried that the units would slide and fall off of each other, but I find they are very secure in remaining stacked. I don’t have any issues at all with them.I haven’t had any problems with cracking, bending, or anything else. All units came to me in perfect condition and all have held up well to regular use.Perfect for my use. Highly recommended both for a shelf-stacking situation and also for using as travel units.Ask with any questions!
