Bought 2 of these for a couple of build projects. Installation was fast and easy. Bore sighted them with an in chamber laser bore sight. The first one was almost dead on out of the box. 3 clicks left, and it was dead on target. The second one was 4 clicks high, and 5 clicks left. The glass is clear with no fuzz or distortion on the outer edges. The zoom is smooth, and easy to adjust. It’s got a low profile close to the rail. The windage and elevation knobs are easy pull to adjust, and push to lock. The illumination will take some getting used to. The battery compartment is an ON/OFF switch only. Then you have to power the unit up with the controls on top of the eye piece. The controls are soft touch, not a hard press. First to illuminate is the level. If you’re in low light or blackout conditions, the last thing you want is a bright blue light showing you the level bubble. Once the level illumination goes out, about 2-5 seconds later the reticle illuminates. It does not power up to the last setting. It defaults to red at the lowest setting. Press and hold the “+” and the intensity increases until full brightness. The “C” changes between red and blue illumination. In the dark it’s hard to hit the “+”, “-“, “C”, “ON”, and “OFF” buttons. Maybe with a little more time and practice it will be easier. The last thing is they could have included some allen set screws in case you wanted to remove the picatiney rails. Be very cautious if you’re going to remove them. Whoever put them on used a boat load of lock tight. One small drop would have been more than enough, but it looked like they completely dipped every screw in lock tight before installing it. Seriously there’s enough lock tight on one screw for all 6 screws on the three rails. I’ll be heading to one of the local hardware stores to see if they have some short allen screws to fit. Removing unused rails means less weight. Ounces count.I did install some 45 offset sights with these. I used a set of low profile 45 offset flip up sights. The rear sight I was able to install under the objective with no interference. The low profile is good and bad. Good: keeping your profile low. Bad: it’s so low, the eyepiece is barely off the charging handle.Had an issue with one of the scopes. The controls stopped working. Contacted Konus, and their customer service is awesome! Had a new scope in my hands in less than 2 weeks. If you send an email you get the customer service in Italy. They are really great. Call the Konus USA on the 1-800 number.Overall it’s a great scope worthy of 5 stars. Glass is clear, scope is definitely worth the price, and customer service is awesome! The excessive lock tight, and the illumination adjustment make it 4 stars.

First off this scope is amazing! I do wish the illuminated reticle was a bit larger but works well. Clear view at 6 power zoom! I shot it in a less than favorable light but it did well. This is my family’s go to scope for our 5.56 Ar’s and has served us well! There’s no true need for the illuminated level on an AR but hey the rest is spot on! I highly recommend this scope to any High tech redneck or 2A person with the need for a short to mid (300yd) scope!

I was a little skeptical at first but I quickly feel in love. Good quality and easy to zero and it holds zero I’ve shot out to 200 yards with it so far.

It fit on my M4 optics are clear and electronics seem to work fine haven’t taken to range yet but I think this well be the scope I was looking for

Great midrange lit reticle with laser burnt cross on glass…

Haven’t taken it to the range so I can’t say much about whether it holds zero or not.It seems and feels like a decent stuff. The view is pretty clear and it definitely was a plus to have its own mount. It comes with an allen key, lens cloth, a battery inside the scope and a spare in a bag. Detachable lens caps are okay. Overall, I am quite happy with it given how much I had to pay for.It has red and green illumination option but I did notice that red sometimes has a problem to stay on. It has been happening every few times I turn it on. Green stays on without a problem so not quite sure if I want to go though the trouble to return it just for red illumination being little finicky. The profile for the mount is very very low so I had to put another short low profile rail right underneath the scope to make sure the position of the scope is high enough for my offset iron sight. All in all, pretty satisfied with the purchase and I will make any changes to this review after a range day./ I called Konus USA in Florida and they said it’s a defective item so once I send it back, I will receive a new one. Just beware that you will have to ship it yourself since they don’t provide you with shipping label or such. I decided to do Amazon return / exchange which was free and got a new one two days later. Seems like everything is fine and will update after a range day!
