I just used this on an international flight. I couldn’t believe the sound quality. It was excellent. It’s so wonderful not to have to disconnect you earphones each time someone has to get up. It’s super convenient not to have a wire attached. The most amazing thing I discovered was the range. I was to lazy to take my headphone off when I went to the bathroom. The whole time I was waiting in the back and in the bathroom I could hear my movie, with no loss of sound quality. I loved this so much that I just ordered two more as gifts when on sale for black Friday.

I started using this Bluetooth dongle to connect my Bose headphones to the entertainment system on airplanes when I travel. The dongle is small and easy to pack with my headphones, charges fairly quickly, was easy to pair, and works well with my headphones. Battery life also seems to be pretty good. I use my headphones on a plane for almost 10 hours, and the battery indicator only went from four lights to three lights meaning it still had 75% of battery left, which is incredibly good battery life as far as I’m concerned. Sound quality was also good, although since I was using this device on a plane which has quite a bit of and being ambient noise, to begin with, it is really hard to tell whether it improves or diminishes sound quality. If there is one thing I might change, is that I have the impression that sound volume decreases when using this dongle compared to plugging the headphones directly into the audio jack of the seatback entertainment system. However, the volume was not so low that it prevented me from hearing the dialogue or enjoying the movies or TV shows. Therefore, all in all, I think it is a great device that works exactly as expected. Oh, and the Bluetooth connection seem to be strong and it never once disconnected from my headphones during the entire trip.

I bought this transmitter because I had recently purchased AirPods Pro 2 (APP2), and my previous transmitter would not work with them. This appears to be a common complaint and very few Bluetooth Transmitters, currently, support the APP2 (but earlier AirPods seem to be easily supported). I can confirm the MEE transmitter works flawlessly with my APP2.Additionally, I tested the dual headphone feature by connecting the APP2 as well as a pair of Jabra 85t buds to the MEE transmitter at the same time. This was also a simple process, and both pairs had no issue connecting the MEE simultaneously. There was a slight difference in delay between the two pairs of headphones, but this is to be expected. An obvious, but worth noting, feature (or lack there of) is any volume control built into the MEE. So if you are using headphones that do not have volume control on the headphones (such as the original AirPods line) you will need to set the volume by connecting them to a traditional Bluetooth TX source (phone, tablet, etc.) and adjust the volume to the setting you with to use with the MEE. In the scenario I mentioned about, both the APP2 and Jabra 85t have on device volume control, so this was no issue. HOWEVER, I was very impressed that when using the MEE with two headphones/earbuds simultaneously, the volume control on each set of headphones was independent of the other device. Meaning I could increase/decrease the volume on the APP2 while having the Jabra volume stay constant. Before purchasing the MEE I had tested a few other similar Bluetooth transmitters, and the volume control was not independent (adjust volume on headphone #1 would also adjust the volume on headphone #2). I feel as if this is a necessary feature when using for dual connections, and glad the MEE supports it.Key Takeaways: Works with AirPods Pro 2, and when using two headsets the volume on each headset can be controlled independently.

I use on flights all the time, works great to connect your headphones vs. The cheap free ones
