I needed something to secure my Osmo DJI Pocket One to my IPhone 15 Pro and this works perfectly. Easy setup, you can add a handle at the bottom if you wish.

As a proud owner of the DJI Osmo Pocket, particularly the reliable first model that continues to deliver incredible travel videos, I recently enhanced my setup with the Movo OPR-50, and it exceeded my expectations. This versatile accessory addresses my need for a cold shoe to mount wireless mics seamlessly. The dual functionality of mounting my iPhone connected to the Osmo Pocket and securing the wireless receiver on the cold shoe is a game-changer. While slightly larger than I initially sought, it proved to be a minor trade-off for its added versatility. The spring-loaded phone holder, accompanied by a securing knob, ensures a secure grip without stressing the connector to the Osmo Pocket. Contrary to some reviews, I experienced no issues of instability or detachment during use.The inclusion of two cold shoes opens up creative possibilities. I can conveniently mount the wireless mic receiver on one and attach a video light to the other for low-light shots. The thoughtful addition of a bubble level ensures precise video leveling. In conclusion, the Movo OPR-50 has proven indispensable for expanding the capabilities of my DJI Osmo Pocket. It strikes a harmonious balance between functionality and versatility, offering a secure platform for various accessories. Highly recommended for those seeking to elevate their videography experience.

Initially I had quite low expectations. Particularly since I purchased a returned unit for less than $4. I thought I had nothing to lose. I also have a metal bracket that I like too. FWIW I also have a couple MOVO straps for my Sony a6xxx.So couple of thoughts. Unboxing it I thought ‘oh crap this thing is huge’. Particularly compared to the compact metal bracket. Weight wise it is really only a couple of grams heavier than the metal bracket. It does take a couple of minutes to get the phone attached (I am using an old Samsung S7 as a “monitor”) and then the Pocket 2. I am getting better and faster each time but it still takes a bit of work to get it all together into a working package. Once that is done the combination actually works ok. It does not work real well with the “Do It All Handle” installed. Just a bit too much weight. I am a little bit nervous that the Pocket 2 will tumble out of the bracket. It does fit in tightly though. Much much tighter than my chrome-style metal bracket. So the MOVO absolutely works perfectly w/o the “Do It All Handle” installed and works OK with it installed. Upside is that the MOVO bracket does not obstruct the on/off switch or the microSD card slot. Although truth be told you will probably have to remove the phone to get to the microSD. Not a big deal. In addition the bracket does not obstruct any of the microphone ports.. And if you position the handle in the just the right spot the bracket will not obstruct the usb c port. There are also beau coup mounting points for accessories. Let’s count them. Obviously one on the bottom of the Pocket 2 (or the bottom of the “Do It All Handle”). Plus one on the bottom of the MOVO handle, one on the front of the MOVO handle, one on the top of the handle, plus a cold shoe on both the top and bottom of the handle. You could attach mics, lights, handles, tripods, mono-pods and just about anything else with all of those mounting points. There is a wee bit of flex in the plastic frame structure that connects the phone holder to the Pocket 2 clamp. Is it enough flex to worry about? Nope. Apart from mounting the whole contraption onto a mini or regular tripod there is no way to just stand the assembled bracket/phone/camera on its own without it falling over. But thats no different from any other Pocket 2 phone bracket.I am right-handed so if I position the phone in the just the right position then the whole bracket becomes easy to hand hold. Check out the photos. Notice that I do have the “Do It All Handle” installed w/o any issues. In fact the way that I am holding it insures that I will not lose the Pocket 1All in all I am pleased with this bracket. It definitely exceeded my expectations and would be worth the full list price.

It’s very handy and secure for my phones & dji just have to work with a little force to get my dji osmo pocket 2 in the slot but I also don’t mind that because I know not going to slide out easily. Definitely a must by for vloggers. I wish it could fold in half to tie in my smaller purses but honestly I love it.
