Mostly I like the fact that it works when it’s on. It will do its job and “enhance the signal” while it’s on. When it is off and left inline, it cuts the signal. When it’s off as most electronics it does have a passive resistance that hampers signals you could normally pick up without it. But otherwise it does help to increase some signals, it is not signal specific like it sounds some people want.
