This is great so far. It’s easy to use, though the app is maybe too simple, it is functioning as needed. The picture quality is good. The frame quality is plastic with a wood design on it. I would love an actual wood option, but this is nice enough. It looks to be higher quality than some others. For the medium-small size and simplistic functionality of this device, I feel the price is bloated and too high. Though, the whole digital picture frame market seems that way currently, unfortunately. One could just buy a decent monitor or TV and program it to display photos for the same price.I needed it for memory care though, so it’s serving it’s purpose well, as it needs to be a little more simplistic.I do really like that it can be used by multiple people with the QR code. Family and friends can share pictures with loved ones this way.Despite a few disappointing aspects, I would still purchase this again.

Updated: 4/25/2025 – I reached out to the company with my concerns and they immediately sent out a replacement. I had it within two days. I really appreciate the excellent customer service I received.**The frame worked great for 4 months. I gave it to my mother as a Christmas gift. A few days ago the screen went black and we haven’t been able to get it to work since. We have tried all the troubleshooting options, but nothing has worked. I have tried to reach out to the selling and will update the review with any feedback I receive.

I bought a digital picture frame for my parents as a gift, and they absolutely loved it.They appreciated the picture quality — the 10.1-inch screen is sharp, vibrant, and offers good viewing angles. They also found it very easy to set up using the app, and we all love how we can share images directly to their display from anywhere.I personally liked the wood-like frame surrounding the display, which gives it a beautiful and elegant look. The frame supports video playback as well, but due to the limited 16GB internal storage, we chose not to upload videos or encourage using that feature heavily.Overall, this is a great digital picture frame that’s easy to use, especially for older people.

This digital frame is great quality and looks stunning on the shelf. The screen size is perfect, and the color accuracy is spot on—photos look vibrant and true to life. WiFi connectivity works smoothly, making it easy to upload pictures directly. It’s definitely fun to use and brings so many memories to life. Totally worth the price and a great value for money!

I ve got this digital frame for my parents, and it honestly turned out better than I expected. It was super easy to set up, even for them, and now I can send them photos straight from my phone, no need for texting or emailing. They love seeing new pictures pop up every day, and the screen quality is really sharp. It even rotates the photos automatically, which is a nice touch. It s made us all feel more connected, especially since we live in different states.

10.1 WiFi Digital Photo Frame, Canupdog IPS Touch Screen Smart Cloud Photo Frame with 16GB StorageUpdate: They have sent several software updates in the 6 or so months since I bought this frame. This shows they are still actively developing for it, which is nice. Somewhere in the last one or two up dates they fixed the problems I reported in my original review so I am very happy with it now. I can now set it so the default slideshow behavior is to make the whole slide fit to the screen based on whichever dimension is largest and it offers options to fill the unused margins, including black, which is exactly what I wanted. Thanks! I am changing my review from 2 to 5 stars as promised.=====I was most worried about how the pictures would be transferred to the frame because a lot of these photo frames force you to use an app and all my pictures are on my PC. All I want to do is load the pictures to an SD card using my PC, put the card in the frame and have the frame display them, just like the ancient photo frame this was replacing.Turns out, this frame did not make me use an app, hallelujah. I thought it was a bit annoying that the frame wanted an network connection but they even issued a firmware update soon after I bought my frame that would allow you to send images directly from PC to frame, not sure if via cable or wifi. In any case there are a lot of nice features blah blah blah and most are accessible via the touch screen without using additional apps, remotes, web sites or other external dependencies. The problem is, and why I am only giving 2 stars, when displaying pictures the frame insists on zooming in so that the entire screen is full. So for example, a picture in portrait mode could be zoomed way in to the middle, cutting off their head or whatever is at the top. My photos include a lot of old pictures converted from slides and prints, so there are a lot of variations in aspect ratio. One would think this would be a common problem and they would have worked it out.In fact, they have! There is a button that says “fit to frame” (something like that) that does exactly what I want: proportionally size down the image to fit the largest of either vertical or horizontal so the entire image is displayed, and just leave the unused portions of the screen (sidebars or top/bottom margins) empty. Two problems:1 – There is no setting to make this the default behavior. So what is the customer supposed to do, go through hundreds of pictures one at a time and for each one, go through the touch screen menu system to locate and press the button? Seriously?2 – The unused portion of the screen should be left blank or even better, display dark (as black as the screen can manage). Instead, they display bright blurriness that looks terrible.Maybe some day they will do another update that does what I want. It is nice to know that they are still actively working on the firmware. When it gets and update there is a little box in the corner of the screen that alerts you.I would love to be giving this 5 stars but almost every picture I see on my frame leaves me grumbling. The basic ability to display pictures pretty important. The ancient frame that this one replaced could do the job with no problem and do you know how old it was? It was so old that when I took the SDHC card out and moved it to the new frame but it would not read it. Finally I figured out that this was because the old card was 16MB. Yes, MEGAbytes. For some reason this simple understanding of how a photo frame should operate has been lost along the way, as they built in all kind of fancy stuff the core functionality has been neglected. It’s like they did a great job with the frosting but the cake itself is meh.I hope someday after an update I will revise this review to 5 stars.
