this worked perfectly for me. i had a hole i need to cover up, but could not completely seal it as I have a wire coming out of it. this plate worked perfectly. i just used some dry wall anchors and it was on the wall in less than 5 min

I purchased two of these to hide some cables for a flat screen TV. I installed this in no time. I did not use a box, but just drilled a 1-1/4″ hole in the wall to snake the cables. Have had this installed for about a month with no problems. Seems to be a good product and a good price.

Nice professional looking wall plate for those that would rather run some wiring than go wireless. I used these for IP cameras which had an Ethernet port attached. This has a large enough hole for the plug to fit into and makes the whole install look clean and neat!

We recently installed a wall-mountedDropcam HD Wi-Fi Wireless Video Monitoring Cameraand drilled a hole through the wall in order to route the power cable to a nearby closet A/C outlet. Originally I used putty to “seal” the hole and maintain a clean look. Unfortunately when I later had to remove the power cable to replace it, I found that my putty-sealed hole was not the smartest idea! For the second go-around, I purchased two of these wall plates. I installed one on each side of the wall and could not have been happier. These are not meant to match the painted-white metal wall/switch plates in our home, but rather the finish of these plates are cheap white plastic. However, given the price and the ease of painting over them, I have absolutely no complaints. Better yet, the rubber grommet is very well sealed and prevents light from the opposing rooms from entering through the wall.
