I’ve been using noise cancelling headphones for the last 15 years for cutting the grass, working at home with noisy kids, and for airline travel. On the most recent pair I acquired, the noise cancelling feature only works when paired with bluetooth, and deactivates when using a wired connection. This made me super sad. I imagine this is the case on all newer headphones that use the USB-C port for both charging and audio.I was very frustrated on flights because I could not use the noise cancelling feature while plugged into the seatback in-flight entertainment system. This has turned my frustration into a big smile, as I am able to drown out the thrum of the airplance engines, and voices of other passengers once again =). This product also has the added benefit of being able to stay plugged in while I get out of my seat or my seatmates need to scoot past my seat to use the airplane bathroom.I haven’t yet made it to the end of the battery life on any of my domestic travel, but will put it to the test on some upcoming international flights. I started out concerned about audiovisual synchronization. While there is a bit of split-second lag, it is not enough to be bothersome while watching movies. I was pleasantly surprised about the very short lag time. Overall, a great product for those wishing to reclaim their airline noise cancelling functionality.

I have to wear hearing aids due to my hearing loss condition and this little device is perfect to use it my wireless AirPods Max headphones every time I travel by plane. Now I can enjoy watching (and listening!) a movie in my seat as don’t need to deal with the airline’s headphones as those sound levels won’t suit my custom hearing requirements. But now, just plugging this little marvel to the normal stereo jack port at the seat, and voiá! I can easily pair it with my Bluetooth AirPods Max and the sound now is perfect, straight to my hearing aids. Certainly, this adapter is very easy to use and fast to pair: its improved electronics use very low consumption power so its built-in rechargeable battery will lasts a lot, (between 10 to 14 hours depending of mode) and can be easily recharged in just two hours using the USB C port. This Bluetooth adapter is certainly pretty versatile, as it can be set as transmitter (Tx) or receiver (Rx), allowing to be used with a lot of different applications, as your stereo system, smartphone, headset, computer speakers, etc. It comes with very simple controls, easy to operate, and has an embedded microphone that allows to answer/hangup/reject/redial a call when using paired to your smartphone. Add to all this that the device also includes some sound processing technology as well, as ‘noise cancelling’, echo filtering, background noise, among others for an improved sound quality.Aside of all those features already mentioned, it has the ability to pair with two different devices (dual wireless connection), so I can also use my AirPods Max if I wish to and also pair it simultaneously to my wife’s AirPods as well, so she can hear the same source that I’m listening. This little thing does the trick perfectly!I’m currently using it with my old (analog) computer speakers’ stereo system (Bose) while streaming music from my iPhone and so far, is performing great: Pairing was breeze-fast, and I have not detected any significant latency when using it. This thing is so small that I don’t need even a case to store it during travel.Overall, this Bluetooth transmitter is amazing, has really good sound quality, seems excellent built, and comes with a great price for all the features included. Is very practical, versatile and super affordable. I’m greatly impressed of how well this little transmitter/receiver works. After try it, it’s now an essential item to carry in backpack together with my MagSafe chargers. This is one of those very few products (of the several hundred that I already reviewed for AMZ) that really impressed me in all areas that I evaluated; so, I’m glad to rate it as 5 stars. Well deserved, for its affordable value, versatility and how useful become to me. Highly recommended.(Reviewed by Handyman)

This is a basic Bluetooth transmitter that does its job. Upon plugging in the Bluetooth transmitter, the transmitter automatically enters pairing mode. This transmitter is not the quickest pairing with the headphones, as an average pairing time, even after the initial pairing is 2 to 4 minutes. The sound coming from my headphones after receiving the single from the transmitter sounds good. The distance that this transmitter transmits is good as well. I can walk 30 to 40 feet away, through a wall and still get a signal with nearly no interruptions.I could adjust the volume from my headphones while the transmitter is transmitting. Yet if I hit the pause button on my headphones, nothing happens. If I push the pause on the transmitter itself, the transmitter will stop transmitting a signal, but the MP3 player will keep on playing. I think when I push the volume button on my headphones; the volume is locally adjusting on my headphones and not on the mp3 player. The MP3 volume doesn’t change on the Mp3 player itself, but the volume does change in my headphones. This lack of control may be an issue with the MP3 player which I’m using and not the device’s fault., Some MP3 players may accept a control signal through the 3.5mm audio out cable, and the Mp3 player which I am using does not. It’s surprising that this transmitter only transmits an SBC codec. One would expect a 5.3 Bluetooth transmitter to transmit in APX formats as well. Overall, this is a basic Bluetooth transmitter that performs good when one overlooks a long pairing time, and limited codecs formats.
