Great quality radio must have if you want an upgrade

I had an issue with the first one sent, company contacted me even though I was past my return date, and sent a new unit, put this one in and it works great. I’m going with the first one was just a fluke, the screen quality is really good. Company supported their product, so big shout out to them.

The media could not be loaded.I have an older Jeep Wrangler in which I upgraded the stock radio a few years back but I still didn’t have a backup camera, no navigation, no hands-free calling, etc. This radio is so feature-packed, it’s amazing at all it can do.The radio comes with a lot of wiring and at first, it can appear to be daunting to install everything but, it’s really very simple as everything plugs in and it’s easy to follow the wiring diagrams in the instructions. There’s one large section of wires which have RCA-type plugs on them, well, I didn’t even have to use that at all so unless you have that type of plug-in system on your old radio, you won’t need it either, unless you convert everything to that style of connection. Depending on the vehicle you plan to install the radio in, just getting to it could be a chore in and of itself. But, if you have basic skills and understand simple wiring, it shouldn’t be too big of a task to tackle. The hardest parts are going to be figuring out the best way to install it in your old radio spot figuring out your speakers wires, then it’s just a simple matter of hooking all of the wiring up to the proper wiring in your vehicle. Just take your time, make certain everything is hooked up correctly the first time and verify everything on the radio works before putting things back together. Here’s some advice which may save you some time and frustration, when hooking the backup camera up, there is a separate, single wire with a yellow RCA plug on it which has its own port and into the back of the radio, then it plugs into the same color and type of plug in the camera. The camera DOES NOT plug into any of the other RCA plugs going into the radio. If you can’t or don’t want to try and figure out where your reverse wiring is in your vehicle, you can just go to your tail lights and find the wire which activates your back up lights and splice into it for the camera trigger wire. Since you have to run power to the backup camera, it’s pretty simple just to do this anyway rather than digging through and testing wires inside of your vehicle. Don’t be afraid to hook up the backup camera, if you don’t have one, you’ll love it because most older vehicles do not have this capability. To me, this is almost the main aspect of this radio when used in older models!Once everything is hooked up and put back together, the radio has a lot of great features, bringing your old ride up to speed with the newer models. You can make and answer calls on it with the included microphone hooked up, there’s access to navigation, although I haven’t had the chance to test that feature yet, it has Bluetooth so you can play your music from your device, you can play music from a memory stick, it has screen mirroring capability – the list goes on and on.To me, THE nicest aspect of the radio is its large display screen – it’s 7 inches, which is big for a radio it’s size! And it’s cool how it operates, turn the radio (or car key) on, the screen comes out and flips up, turn the car off, the screen folds back into the radio. This makes the whole thing very compact and why you can fit this radio into those smaller spots where older vehicle radios were. The screen tilt can be adjusted as well or you can press the retract button and the screen folds back in, you don’t have to have it out to use the radio. With so many features, it may take awhile to learn everything but that’s how it is with virtually any electronics these days, there’s so much technology to embrace. But of course, if you’re old school and prefer not to use all of the features, just the radio itself with that big screen is nice. The sound quality is pretty good, of course, that has a lot to do with the quality of your speakers and there is a really neat and colorful equalizer for you to adjust according to your preferences. The radio has cool ambient lighting and also there’s lights which flash to the music as well. There’s an included remote control to use with the radio as well.Overall, I’m fairly impressed with this radio. I love how it looks and all of the new features I have available in my Jeep now. For the price, this thing is a great value, especially considering the big screen and all of the awesome features it has. Bring that old classic into the modern, electronic age, get this radio and experience that wow factor!
