The Acoustic Audio HD-5 in Ceiling Speakers are some of the best sounding and well-crafted speakers on the market! I have built several HT systems for myself, friends and family for many years using Bose, JBL, Polk, and other high-end, high dollar speakers. After hearing the HD-5 in my theatre room, I will probably never use another brand based on the overall sound and value that they provide. After calibrating and adjusting the sound within my Onkyo receiver, the HD-5 speakers proved to me that they deserve to be among the best out there. The highs and lows that the speakers produce are clear and clean. I have already recommended several friends who build houses to use these speakers in them

Put 5 of these in my living room for my tv and sound system. They are awesome! No need to research any more. I did a lot of research. Bass is good. Subwoofer would make it better but I don’t have one and the sound is great. Easy to install.

I took a chance on these because they were cheap and they fit the holes I already had for my old speakers. I am so glad I purchased these. Here are the positives, but first off let it be known that my surround sound receiver is a Yamaha RX-V1000 rated at 125 watts per channel into all channels. So here we go:>Fit Perfect>Sound is absolutely amazing audiophile quality. They are very precise and balanced. Not too bright, just right.These actually sound better than my Elacs being driven by a 150 w/ch B&K components amp.>Bass output for a small speaker is excellent. I have them crossed over at 80hz with my BIC Sub,and yes I did try them without my sub.The only negative is that they are not spring loaded or have a solid binding post. I soldered my wires on/
