I’ve been looking for a solution to a problem I had with certain cameras/my compact gimbal and I’m so glad I found this plate!My gimbal is smaller and designed with a few specific models of camera in mind (such as RX100x series, and I wanted to use some others as I’m a camera nerd with a collection, but ran into issues with fitting them on it because a lot of point and shoot/compact cameras have offset tripod mounts that aren’t centered with the body or lens of the camera.I was having the most issues with getting a Lumix LX7 mounted and this is much better and lighter than my prior solution with a sandwich of arca plates/mounts.This plate is great for centering an offset tripod mount on a camera or even adding extra mounting options for vertical shooting, great quality so far and super sturdy!
