Needed new belts for an M555ES, and these fit perfectly. Getting to belts is a bit of work, so if you haven’t done this, be prepared. After replacing 2 of the belts (motor and carousel) the player was like new.

Used 2 of the 4 belts included to fix the CD changer. Not sure if the smaller one designated for the door is used for my machine. The door was working fine and it was not apparent where it would even go. At least not without further disassembly. I will hang onto the spare bands just in case. Easy fix for a machine that has surprisingly gone way up in value. These things used to be thrift store fodder stacked to the ceiling. go figure.

I had the dreaded table error on my Sony 400 CD changer and was just going to finally get rid of it. But I did some research and found out you could replace these belts. Did a search and found a video on how to open it up and I did. I highly recommend you open up the CD changer and look at the belts as you can easily see if this is the problem and it only requires the removal of a few panels, very easy. It took me only 15 minutes to replace them and the CD changer fired up and worked great.
