These fit on my 24×24 generic cheap softboxes fine, except for in the four corners, where they come maybe a half inch short, which is no big deal. The velcro stop is a little thinner than I would like but it’s fine. No regrets here.

The grid is perfect for the quick softbox, but since the velcro on the softbox isn’t too wide, what I do is I’ll attach the scrim by the barbs on its edges to the inner edge of the velcro on the softbox, then use rest of the velcro area for the grid so it holds everything better. The grid itself is pretty good. I’m not a big fan of the poly material it’s made of since I’ve had other grids made of the same stuff not last long-term, but it gets the job done.

Eggcrate is typically very expensive for a little bit of material. But eggcrate does a great job of focusing and directing light and it’s a necessary photographer tool. So finding a good honeycomb that fits and doesn’t fall apart at the a very reasonable, even a low price is a nice plus. This fits my 80cm square softbox without gapping even though it’s a different brand (one of the expensive ones). So call me happy with the purchase.

I now have two of these for my 32″ square Godox soft boxes, and they are working well. They are a great addition to these soft boxes when it’s necessary to have better control of the spreading light. The folding design of this style soft box makes them the ideal soft box for portable use, but I frequently use them in my studio as well.

For the price it’s not bad. I put it on my Neewer version of this softbox and it fits but hangs out the front. I used a binder clip to tighten it up on one side. Looks stretched but works.
